GENERAL FAQs

  • Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled booking time. Ex. If you signed up for the 11:00 AM tour, you must arrive at 10:30 AM. This gives us time for check in, restroom break, and time to gear up to keep us on schedule.

  • This is an outdoor activity and we participate rain or shine. Please check the weather forecast and choose your outerwear accordingly.

    Closed toe shoes are required for all activities. We do not have extra shoes on site. Participants who do not have closed toe shoes on will not be allowed to ride or be provided with a refund.

  • We love dogs, but no, dogs are not allowed on property for liability reasons. Please leave the fur family at home or in your accommodations. Do not leave your dog in your vehicle please.

  • A member of the SVZT team will drive you in one of our ATV's a half mile up to the top of the valley ridge. It's a fun ride and we cross the creek!

    Our Mountain Cat Off Road Adventure tours are on hold as we reassess that program for 2026. Apologies for any inconvenience.

  • We operate rain or shine and in all weather conditions.

    We will not operate if there are unsafe operating conditions such as lightning or severe winds.

    In the event that Sky Valley Zip Tours decides to cancel your tour, you will receive a full/partial refund or rain check depending on the situation.

  • We require a chaperone to be present for the Whistle Pig Kid’s Kip.

    On our Canopy Zip Tours, participants aged 10-13 must have an adult with them on the course. Participants ages 14-15 must have an adult on property. Those ages 16-17 are able to participate without an adult present.

  • Cancellations more than 72 hours in advance will receive full price refund.

    Reservations cancelled less than 72 hours in advance are ineligible for refund.

Canopy Zip Tour & Night Flight

  • All participants must be at least 10 years old and weigh between 70 and 250 pounds. We weigh everyone at check in before the tour begins.

  • Due to the remote and rugged conditions that make our course special, it is not possible for a spectator to walk along and watch as the group zips.

  • Cell Phones: Participants cannot bring their cell phones on the tour for safety reasons. No exceptions.

    Cameras: No handheld cameras are allowed on the tour…a GoPro/Insta360/etc type that can be mounted or worn are acceptable.

    We do not provide helmet mounts for GoPro cameras, but a participant may attach one to our helmets if they wish. Mounts may not be able to be removed. We are not responsible for mounts or cameras that are lost or damaged during the tour.

    To alleviate all the hassles, our guides take pictures of your adventure that are available for purchase.

    Keys/Etc: Plan to leave personal items in your car and keys with our manager. You don’t want anything falling out of your pockets out there…yikes!

    Water: Water is not provided on the course, but a participant may bring a water bottle that has a loop on it that we can attach a carabiner to.

  • You'll be wearing a fitted harness over your clothes and outerwear, so please wear something comfortable and seasonally appropriate. A light jacket in case of rain is a great things to have.

    Close toed shoes are required. No sandals, flip flops or crocs…we want your toes to stay happy and healthy.

    We provide helmets and gloves. A participant can wear a winter hat or glove liners if we can fit our gear over them. Sunglasses are allowed and can be worn under the helmet.

    Long hair does need to be tied back for safety reasons.

Whistle Pig Kid Zip

  • Minimum age of 4 years old and able to reach 48” high while standing. Maximum height of 5’ 6” and weight of 180 pounds.

    Parents have the ability to watch the activity but cannot go on the lines for this course.

  • Yes! You can watch…There are picnic tables in a covered pavilion and benches under the shade of trees…

    Chaperones: All minors must be accompanied by at least one chaperone. (A chaperone is anyone 16 years old or older, preferably a family member, that has been pre-approved by the parent or court appointed legal guardian to be in charge of the minor's needs.)

    Trails are provided on the Whistle Pig Adventure Park course for parents or chaperones to follow their participant/s as they navigate the zip lines.

    Bring a camera to document your kiddo conquering fears, overcoming challenges, and having the most fun of their life!

  • Cameras and Phones: Chaperones may use phones or cameras during tour operation to capture images of their participant. Kids cannot bring cell phones on the ziplines for safety reasons.

    Drinks & Snacks: Feel free to bring a snack or beverage to enjoy under the shaded picnic area. We can transport coolers or bags as needed. (Water is not provided on the course.)

    Water and sunscreen are highly recommended!

    Birthday Parties: Come a little early and we can transport all your party supplies to the picnic pavilion ahead of time.
