This three-hour outdoor adventure brings you into the heart of Western North Carolina to experience the thrill of zip lines while enjoying the natural beauty of this 140 acre unspoiled environment. Guided by our trained Rangers, you will zip through forests, traverse bridges, and jump off rock faces!
Your safety is our primary concern and you will begin the trip with our “ground school” where you will learn all the techniques necessary to expertly traverse the Zip Line Course. Groups are limited to 10 people and each tour is escorted by at least 2 trained professionals.
Enjoying the outdoors and the natural environment in a safe and exciting manner is our idea of a fun time! The canopy tour was expertly planned to take advantage of the natural beauty of the area and to limit the environmental impact on this 3rd Generation Family Owned Property. This course will definitely get you excited about being outdoors, pushing your limits, and having fun with family and friends.

The natural environment at Sky Valley is a truly remarkable taste of the many things the High Country of North Carolina has to offer adventurers and thrill-seekers. We ask that each "zipper" takes an active role in helping us to preserve this beautiful landscape for all to enjoy. Travel light and enjoy your experience!
We ask that you leave your jewelry, other valuables, camera and cell phone locked in your car. These items can lost or may become hazardous distractions on the course. You may wear sun glasses on the tour but you might consider wearing an eye-glass strap to keep them in place. Sky Valley is not responsible for, nor can we recover items dropped from the course.
Each tour is accompanied by a photographer, so you can simply enjoy the ride! When your trip is over, visit the SVZT shop for pictures, video, t-shirts and other keepsakes.
Come prepared for an outdoor adventure - while we recommend checking the weather before your ride, understand that in the High Country forecasting is an art! We recommend bringing layers so you can be comfortable in our constantly changing environment. Closed toed shoes are required. Our full-body harness will wrap around your upper thigh, shoulders, and waist, so shirts and shorts/pants should cover modestly. Long hair must be tied back and secured.
Our tours run rain or shine, so feel free to bring along a rain jacket and/or pants. Yes, you're may get wet... but yes, you will still have a great trip! In cold weather, we suggest you wear thin, liner style gloves that can be worn under the required work-style gloves that we provide. A wind resistant outer layer is helpful, as well as stocking caps or low profile ear warmers that are able to be worn under our helmets.
