THE COURSE

Ten zip lines, a cliff jump, a swinging bridge and countless views later - you have an experience you won't soon forget. The course is located on 140 acres of pristine environment on which you will get to observe and enjoy diverse flora and fauna and a beautiful waterfall. Our groups are small, maximum of 10 zippers, and led by two trained Canopy Rangers who will help you get to know your other zippers and have a great experience in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.

THE TOUR

This three-hour outdoor adventure brings you into the heart of Western North Carolina to experience the thrill of zip lines and the natural beauty of the High Country!

​Your safety is our primary concern and you will begin the trip with our “ground school” where you will learn all the techniques necessary to skillfully traverse the Zip Line Course. Groups are limited to 10 people and each tour is escorted by at least 2 trained professionals.

CANOPY TOUR

WHAT?

Zip Line Tours are traditionally composed of a series of steel cables fixed between trees, poles, or towers and are traversed on pulleys. Canopy Tours specifically explore the tree tops, and often including interpretive guides that educate guests about the natural environment. The course at Sky Valley was professionally designed and installed with both safety and excitement in mind.

Located a mere 3 miles from the Boone Mall in Boone, NC at Camp Sky Ranch - Sky Valley Canopy Tours is a unique blend of the High Country's diverse natural environment, nestled along a creek and tucked into the countryside. Take a short scenic drive up Winkler's Creek Road and experience all the peace and beauty of the back-country... just a stone's throw from town!

WHEN?

Sky Valley Canopy Tour is open for business as of May 2012. Experience our first full season when you visit us this Spring, Summer, and Fall! Spaces fill fast in July, so book your tour early!
